You will learn about the origins of Family History, the main repositories
for information and the special places and cases for Jewish Genealogy. This
program will illustrate the methodology and procedures to perform a
genealogy research covering the basic subjects that must include and the
activities needed to collect information from and about family members:
Build a family tree, interview relatives, analyze sources, record all the
facts and involve other family members by sharing your discoveries. Daniel
Horowitz will show you how to start your genealogy with a different
perspective, not only more exciting, but also taking advantage of the latest
technologies and creative tools available to advance your research.

Daniel Horowitz was born in Venezuela, (1971). Has a B.Sc. in computer
engineering (2002), a Specialization in education (1994) & Management of
Educational Institutions (2004). Daniel was the teacher and study-guide
editor for over 15 years, of the family history project “Searching for My
Roots” in Venezuela, where his work received many awards worldwide.
In Israel since 2005, Daniel is today the MyHeritage Chief Genealogist,
Daniel holds board level positions in a few genealogical societies, he has a
deep understanding of the needs of today’s family history enthusiasts.

      Not that I’m aware of. All of the Levin clan that are part of my family are from South Jersey.
